Learn how the science of Positive Psychology, which developed as a formal field of study in the late '90s, can help you make choices that support greater happiness and well-being in your life. Certified Positive Psychology Coach Kim Childs will offer practices from the field that center on Appreciative Inquiry, or asking the "right" questions, to direct our minds toward what is good, what is working, what we can learn and how we can benefit, no matter what happens in our lives. You will be invited to try on these practices, and have the option to follow up after the workshop. Bring a journal or notebook for the written exercises. $18 or class card.
