It’s intl-coverNever Too Late to Begin Again:
Discovering Creativity and Meaning at Midlife and Beyond
September 2017* in Arlington, MA; $440 (* and May 23 and 30 via Arlington Community Education)

Are you over the age of 55, approaching retirement or in retirement and wondering “What’s Next?” If so, I invite you to my new class based on Julia Cameron’s new book, It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again: Discovering Creativity and Meaning at Midlife and Beyond. The author of the life-changing book, The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, Cameron says that her new book addresses the question, “What’s next?” for those embarking on their “second act.” The book shows us how cultivating our creative, authentic selves helps us navigate the new terrain of midlife and retirement, and features  inspiring stories of retirees who discovered new pursuits and passions that filled their days and nurtured their souls. The next 10-week class will begin in September 2017, and the investment is $440. We’ll aim to define the life you now desire, and appreciate the life you’ve lived, using such simple tools as:

–  Memoir writing – offering an opportunity to reflect on—and honor—past experience and write our own stories
–  Morning Pages – private, stream-of-consciousness writing done daily to clarify, purge and bring truths to the surface
–  Artist Dates – which encourage fun, play, self-care and spontaneity
–  Solo Walks to quell anxiety, clear the mind and inspire us in life and nature

As a certified life and career coach, I’ll offer additional coaching, wisdom and resources as applicable. Interested in joining us or receiving individualized coaching in this work? Please contact me. I’d love to help you make this one of the richest chapters of your life! Also, know that I’m presenting a mini version of the class May 23 and 30 via Arlington Community Education.
